‘The White Cottage’ was a sad detached cottage positioned on a very steep hill in the heart of Woodbridge. It was desperately in need of a total refurbishment but needed to be underpinned first before any major work started, it certainly wasn’t for the faint hearted!
The garden was a secluded retreat with glimpses of the river & so with this in mind the house was reconfigured with the main living area at the top of the house with large bi-folding doors flowing out into the garden.
The White Cottage is now an elegant beauty which boasts a large 2 storey side extension, bespoke oak staircase, doors & brick-slip walls which give a cosy traditional feel but with all the luxuries of modern living. All 3 double bedrooms have ensuites & a large open plan living area houses a modern kitchen, dining room & lounge with log burner, ideal for entertaining. Landscaping completed the look with a large summer house built in the garden.
