Mark and Ruth work very well together and both share the same approach to creating finished properties, where the wishes of the client are central in realising each project, ensuring that the quality is maintained throughout whatever the scale and scope of the build and budget.
Mark Crisp MCIOB – Director/ Chartered Construction Manager
Mark has worked in construction for over 30 years and is passionate about building and renovating properties. His career began as an apprentice carpenter for a local builder and since then has been a site foreman and a director of two large construction companies.
Mark founded Chapel Properties Woodbridge with his wife, Ruth in early 2014 and they make a successful and highly effective team. Mark can easily visualise the end result and has the ability to effectively manage the process to reach the client’s vision, keeping each client fully informed on the progress of the project and giving them peace of mind throughout the build process.
He am a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and a recognised Chartered Construction Manager (CCM).
Mark has been the feature of several articles written by a local magazine & newspaper
His first feature was in the debut Living in …. Woodbridge magazine in the Autumn of 2016, ‘Good things come in small packages’, followed by, ‘Building a better future’ in the Early Spring edition 2017.
‘Construction company exceeding expectations’ was written by the EADT in August 2017.
Mark also dabbles a little in writing too, he is currently writing a bi-monthly article for the Woodbridge Vanilla magazine upon their request, which so far spans from August 2017 to the present date.
Ruth Crisp – Interior Designer
Ruth has always had a passion for designing which began as a child when she painted a cast iron fireplace in her bedroom. Since owning her own homes, she has relished the interior design process and loves sourcing fabric, soft furnishings and decorative pieces to give all her interiors an individual stamp.
She has been inspired by all the home interior trends over the years like stencilling, mosaics, co-ordinating woodwork with walls and now feature walls and the revival of wallpaper. Just like in the home, trends in garden design change and she is very interested in keeping up to date with all the latest influences to create gorgeous outside spaces that complement the home.
Ruth’s taste is for contemporary living that is both functional and comfortable while giving the WOW factor to all her properties. She has an eye for a few opulent, key pieces that give her designs that all important signature look. She takes my design principles outside to provide gardens that are simple, contemporary and easy to maintain.
We have a centrally located office which is run by friendly & efficient staff Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Evenings and Saturday mornings by appointment.
